Chrysalis

It uses the metaphor of the chrysalis to reflect on personal and collective transformation in the face of the social and environmental challenges of our time. Through photography and painting, the project addresses issues such as the ecological crisis, social justice and human rights. It offers an immersive experience that invites critical and emotional reflection.

The bodies, wrapped in light fabrics and in dialogue with nature, are presented in a transitional space that evokes metamorphosis. This intimate relationship between human beings and their environment is shown as a fragile symbiosis, a reflection of the vulnerability we share in the face of inevitable changes.

Each image proposes an emotional journey, where time and space are diluted to transmit the essence of vulnerability, regeneration and hope that emerges from the social, humanitarian and ecological crises that affect us today.

“The body, in its fragility, is the place where pain becomes visible, the place where the world becomes present.”

- Chantal Maillard
